Fast Food
I started watching an item on Close Up about the amount of fast fast food New Zealanders are consuming. It was basically saying that one of your meals today would have been fast food. How often do you eat ‘fast food’? In my house it is really infrequently because it is soooo expensive to get a ‘good feed’!
I didn’t watch the whole item because it seemed to be saying the same thing that we all know – fast foods can lead to obesity if eaten all the time. Everything in moderation!
What do you think?

it’s true we already know about fast food and obesity but what should we do to stop it?

I think that fast-food eating is a growing problem in NewZealand Today..More and more families are eating alot of fast food. Some of the reasons this is happening might be that parents are to busy to cook or cannot find the time to cook. Leaving children and family to go out and but fast- food. Buying fast-food is so easy to do, it is alot easier than cooking.
I saw an American program on TV the other night, where a family was going out to eat atleaste three times a week!!
I definatley think that NewZealnd isn’t the worst fast-food eating country. But it is right up at the top of the list.

This is true. New Zealanders are consuming a lot more than other countrys (But like Bethany said)and we’re not the worst. I watched Dr. Phil yesterday(16th April) and there was a woman that had a grandma that died not long ago that weighed over 400 pounds and ate plenty of fast foods. Her granddaughter who is about 29 yrs old had already weighed alot more than her. She went to 15 different take away shops each week which is in a half mile diametre.
Our family probably consumes Fish ‘n’ Chips every 20 days which I think personaly is a bit to much.
On prime programe there was a 34 stone teenager!!!
