Medals stolen from Silver Fern!
On Tuesday there was a burglary at Silver Fern, Laura Langman’s flat in Hillcrest. She had medals stolen from her while she was at a practise or a game. These items included a Gold medal from the Commonwealth Games, a Silver medal from last years World Championships with the Silver Ferns, along with two National Bank Cup Medals she claimed with the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic. “These medals are of huge personal value to me and I would love to have them returned (via police),” says Laura Langman. I think whoever stole these medals should be punished and be caught as soon as possible, or this person should go to the police and hand the medals in. What do you think?

If I was a world class athlete and somebody came into my house while I was at training or at a game and stole my well earned medals. I would not be happy!
Because why would someone do such a thing, because it is not as though they can sell them, because if someone saw them on trade me ect, They would report them, and it is not as though you had earned them honestly so you would feel guilty if you happened to see a newspaper article or television program about the disappearance of net ball medals. You wouldn’t even be able to show or tell a friend because they might tell someone that you had them.
So I hope who ever has done such a horrible thing will do the right thing and return them!

I think that this is a very annoying matter as what can anyone do with gold medals apart from the people who earned them? I hope that the thief gives back her medals soon

I think it is terrible that anyone would stoop so low as to steal something with so much sentimentel value. If I was Laura Langman I would be devastated and I would like the person who did this to be caught and and pay for what they have done.

I think that this is terrible just like at the war memorial musseum and the person responsible should turn in the medals and face what charges would be laid on them.
