Youth Twitter
I’ve just come across Youth Twitter which may interest some of you – we may also be able to make use of it at school. It is not the same as Twitter but does give the same sort of community conversation and you are not restricted to 140 characters. Maybe someone in the class could check it out for us and let us know if it is worth pursuing further.

Hi there from Room 18 at Balmoral School, Auckland, New Zealand.
We loved your 2007 site and it still remains one of our favourites. Really exciting stuff has been happening here. The links and info posted by your teacher is amazing and a worthwhile resource for any classroom blogger.
We have a new blog address – http://room18space.edublogs.org Last year we were Room 29, but we are a new class now – hence the new address. You can delete the Room 29 Space off now as many of the children have left for intermediate
