I think that is a very strong poem, and it makes me understand more about what conditions poor people live in!

I think that you can not define poor in just one way. For the many people in under developed countries, they might think poor is when you cannot provide for your family or yourself and are barely living. However for others it may just be a bit of an empty fridge. So, personally I believe you cannot define poor in one way.

wow. i never knew the word "poor" could mean so many things. all the meanings are so different but yet are mostly all straight to the point. my definition of poor is- not having enough money to buy food, support kids, pay for education or provide shelter for you and your family but I have realised now that it is alot more complicated then that. cool blog post. from kitty milo=]=]

My own definition? Being poor is eating every single scrap of food on a plate even if you dislike the food.

Hayley, it's a list of different people's definitions of being poor. What I want to know is what is your definition of 'poor'?
